Shouting Into the Void (And Hearing a Response)

There has been something deeply fun about putting my own music out into the world of recent. You build these tracks and discover songs from others in isolation, then somehow they magnetize to each other and start to bend into some of my own broken logic. After complying you then you push them off the ledge. An Open Threshold - Jansky Noise and Friends So after a recent release of the above album An Open Threshold I was delighted to get instant feedback from  Andy Ortmann and The Eternal Now (WFMU) for spinning not one, but two tracks from my upcoming album . Hearing Habanera.EXE cut through the airwaves alongside the rest of that brilliant artists, sprawling June 4th broadcast was a pleasure indeed. La Da Da Da, La Da Da Dee, La Da Da Dum Dum

  I was completely unaware of The Frogs until days ago, but thanks to The Eternal Now with Andy Ortmann (specifically the playlist from June 4, 2026), walking into their strange, beautiful universe felt like a welcomed tonic, and breath of welcome fresh air.  I will make a more expanded comment on that show later, but for now, I just love the humor and the simple spirit of this track. "La Da Da Da, La Da Da Dee, La Da Da Dum Dum..." The goofy unhinged joy in this track it is so deceptively simple, beautifully loose, and entirely free. Stumbling onto this felt like finding the doorway to fun again. Just pure, refreshing fun. Late to the party, but completely converted on this today.
