Nadeem Khan's "Tu Tak Tu Tak Tutiyan" — The Elado Touch - This is so good!

Just look at that head, Nadeem Khan, is having it!

Elado, a name synonymous with innovative beats and heart-thumping remixes, has once again showcased his unparalleled prowess in sound manipulation. His original edit of a beloved Bollywood classic, "Tu Tak Tu Tak Tutiyan" by Nadeem Khan, has not just been an ode to the song, but an outright global phenomenon and quite right so!

Over the past two years, this reimagined version has become the lifeblood of dance floors worldwide, bringing with it a surge of nostalgia, love, and euphoria.

With the ever-evolving demand and appreciation for this enchanting mix, Razor-N-Tape didn't merely rest on their laurels. They've supercharged the emotion by releasing an official 7’ remix package, and it is spot on! The package, a delightful duality of sound, sees the familiar "Gulab Jamun Rework" enveloping listeners on the A side. This version, while retaining the essence of the original, adds a layer of contemporary zest that keeps it loyal with an early Acid House almost Chicago house baseline which really does hit the nail on the spot. The mix of that early emerging house with the catchy vocal all tied together with a bubbly 303 make it quite irresistible and full of charm.

On the flip you're in for a slight stripped version at 4am. So after the 3am Eternal, we drop the The "4 A.M. mix" it is a lighter more fun venture, with some 80's style sampling, keeping with the whole nostalgia.

What I love most about this, is it's a bit like going back in time to when I used to listen to songs like Ashram House.

Myself and Leyland Kirby were playing this song along with Acid Alan 33 years ago and even before. I remember very well, when the Acid House sound arrived in the UK for the first time. Yeh, I was 14 years old, so at the sweet spot for opening into music. What I heard then was raw, but what I am hearing now, is a fresh take on the old, and I like the balance here, it is not so easy to pull off, we have the tools now, but the soul and energy is different. Razor-N-Tape have brought us back round again with this slice of acid house, or Acid Bhangra. So, we must give a nod to the maestro Nadim Khan, respect for the original track and the CD artwork. The old meets the new, in a homage that speaks volumes of the legacy the original track holds.

I will keep my eye on RNT to see how else they attempt to fuse the old boundaries. Tu Tak Tu Tak Tutiyan, - "We Love You."
