The Kronos Quartet doing a blotted or hazy version of Jimmy Hendrix Purple Haze.
Quite a thing. I wonder if the San Francisco quartet were lucky enough to enjoy Jimmy live or the Haze of back yonder. They certainly have been around long enough to try the Haze, smoked or in blotted paper format, perhaps both and all, and they would be in the right geographical location too. With or without a smoke or blotted paper, I like Jimmy and this version has been morphing around my senses and ears for sometime.
