Discovering Zuf de Zur’s “Klubzuba 1947 -

I first stumbled upon Zuf de Zur’s song Klubzuba 1947 while listening to Late Junction on BBC Radio. It was love at first listen.  The track is so vibrant and animated, bursting with energy that immediately transports you into a celebratory mood. It reminded me of my days in Spain—driving around in my slightly temperamental, old VW Golf. Even though it broke down from time to time, it didn’t matter. The sun was shining, and the music made every moment feel carefree and golden. Zuf de Zur is an Italian band from the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, known for their work in blending traditional folk elements with contemporary sounds. They focus on revitalizing cultural and musical heritage, often adding theatrical elements to their performances. Their music, such as in Klubzuba 1947 , captures a dynamic and spirited atmosphere that feels like a celebration of life itself. Benjamin Clementine - God Save the Jungle @ Cruïlla 2017

What a great track title, God save the jungle. As I write an article about the loss of water and poor water management in Spain, I can sing God save the rivers, just as much as I can sing "God Save the Jungle", Save it all, as it's all going.....going,gone....
